  19. I experienced some IDE errors some months back with my PAR system and
  20. went back and forth between DPS and Micropolis without any luck in
  21. isololating the problem.  Anyway, to make a very long story short, here
  22. is what I discovered.  For those of you who own the TBC-IV, the
  23. installation instructions tell you to mount the card right next to the
  24. PAR card for purposes of hooking up that little jumper between the
  25. boards.  Only when you do, it leaves just about no room for air flow
  26. between them....and THIS is what was giving me my problems.

  28. I pulled the TBC out and moved it over by one slot.  It took a little
  29. playing around to get that jumper to reach over to the PAR, but it DID
  30. work.  I have not had a problem since.  Oh yeah, I also pulled the back
  31. plates off all of the slots around these cards...
